Privacy policy

TaxCompare is designed to work without collecting your personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no personal profile. You can use the calculator without identifying yourself.

The values you enter into the calculator (such as income and expenses) are used to compute results and are carried in the page URL so you can bookmark or share a comparison. They are not tied to your identity and we do not store them on a server for you.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details through the calculator. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

The calculator itself does not set advertising cookies. Where we measure traffic, we aim to use privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics. If analytics, advertising, or affiliate features that use cookies are ever introduced, we will ask for consent through a consent banner first, as required in the EU.

The site may link to third-party sources and, in future, partner services; those sites have their own privacy policies. Under the GDPR you have rights over any personal data a service holds about you. Because we hold essentially none by design, most requests amount to confirming that.
